The Masini Kiln starts its business in 1938 after taking over one of the oldest kilns in Impruneta. From that year, generation after generation, the Masini family continues to offer high quality products that guarantee beauty, functionality,craftsmanship and resi stance. Every artefact is similar to the other but unique at the same time and all together, inside the Masini pottery, they invite us to listen to their story.
There are many techniques to work the clay, each with its secrets, history and artisans: we mould the clay following the ancient traditional techniques . Inside the Masini Kiln, the water, the clay and fire are skillfully mixed up together to create unique objects, of extraordinary beauty.

The terracotta from Impruneta was used to build the most famous monuments and buildings in Florence, like the Church of Santo Spirito, the Church of Sant’Ambrogio, the grand-ducal apartments in Palazzo Vecchio, the Convent of Santissima Annunziata, Santa Trinita and the hospitals of Innocenti and Santa Maria Nuova. But Filippo Brunelleschi was the artist that celebrated the most the terracotta from Impruneta with the Dome of Santa Maria del Fiore, that dominates the city every day, sourrounded by the astonishment of the many tourists.
